PROKEH Biofertilizer Research Team Berths in Apomu, Isokan LGA, Osun State.......

On Thursday 17 August, 2023, the PROKEH Biofertilizer Research Team visited the Alapomu of Apomu Kingdom, Oba Kayode Adenekan Afolabi (Atoyebi II) in his palace to intimate him about the PROKEH Biofertilizer Research, as Apomu in the Rainforest zone of Nigeria will host one of the experimental fields of the project. The concept of the research was presented to Kabiyesi by the Principal investigator, Prof. Agbaje Lateef, highlighting its potential benefits in developing local competence to produce eco-friendly biofertilizers, conversion of keratinous wastes to wealth, and promotion of green technology to enhance crop production for the attainment of food security in Nigeria.

Kabiyesi received the team warmly, commended the giant strides of the Principal investigator, and was elated that Apomu was chosen as a project site for the research. He offered pieces of advice on the project and prayed for its successful execution. He promised to support the 2-year project in his domain and beyond. The team was grateful to Kabiyesi for his warm reception and support for the project.

Thereafter, the team visited the site to be used for the field testing of PROKEH Biofertilizer at Jewoese, Awala Road, Apomu……….
